Real times, not promises
It depends where you are, and we’d rather tell you that than make something up. Calgary and the ring roads are quickest. Hwy 1 to Brooks, Hwy 2 south to Claresholm and Hwy 3 to Lethbridge are highway runs from wherever the nearest truck is. Golden is a long way from anybody, and if you’re on the Field hill in January we’ll say so before the truck leaves.
What we won’t do is give you a number to get you off the phone. Dispatch tells you the real ETA before the truck rolls, gives you the tech’s cell, and if anything changes on the way, we call you, not the other way round. If we’re not the closest option for where you are, we’ll tell you that too.
Roadside
If it’s stopped a truck on the highway, we’ve probably fixed it on the highway.
The right belt for the engine and year, fitted and checked against the routing diagram.
Batteries, charging faults, starter and ground problems. Boosted or repaired where it sits.
DEF, DPF, NOx faults read with the laptop, fixed and cleared where the fault allows.
Belt, fan, coolant loss. Shut it down first; the fix depends on how long it ran hot.
Leaks, dryer, governor, compressor. Found with soapy water and a gauge, most of the time.
Lease roads, feedlots, farm yards, gravel pits. We go where the truck is. Winching and recovery

We carry tires. Tire Town started as a tire distributor, so the common sizes are on the service truck and the tire gets mounted and torqued on the shoulder. Tell dispatch the size on the sidewall if you can read it.
Then you’ve paid for a call-out and a straight answer, and we help you decide which way to tow. We don’t spend two hours on the shoulder finding out what a shop could have told you in five minutes.
If you’re running on a fleet card, tell dispatch when you call so the tech has the right terminal with him.
