WHAT MOBILE WELDING ON A TRUCK IS GOOD FOR

A lot of what breaks on a truck or trailer is a bracket, a hanger, or a plate welded to something bigger. That’s exactly what our mobile service trucks are built for. Our certified technicians arrive fully equipped with portable welders, cutting torches, heavy grinders, plate stock, clamps, and jacks to pull components true and weld them solid.

Clear Answers

FAQs

Will you weld a cracked frame rail on the roadside?

No. A cracked or severed main tractor frame rail requires an engineered, certified repair procedure inside an authorized shop. If we determine that your frame rail integrity is compromised, we will advise you immediately on safe shop options.

Do you weld trailers as well as tractors?

Yes. Trailer welding represents a major part of our calls—including cracked spring hangers, bent landing gear, broken cross-members, rear DOT bumpers, and tailgate hinges.

Can you weld in freezing winter conditions (-30°C) or rain?

Yes, severe cold is workable with appropriate thermal pre-heating. However, severe rain, blowing blizzards, or units deeply mired in mud may require moving the unit under cover, as proper weld penetration and safety are top priorities.

Do you offer mobile welding for fleet yards?

Yes. We provide scheduled fleet yard repairs across Calgary and surrounding hubs. Recurring multi-unit welding jobs can be billed directly through our dedicated Fleet Services accounts.
